Summertime in Dallas means triple digit heat but it is also the most wonderful time of the year for Mary Kay. We’re celebrating bigger than ever before because we will have 50,000 of our closest friends in “Big D” for the most fantastic birthday party you’ve ever seen. Our annual seminar brings together Mary Kay sales force members for recognition, motivation and education for the year ahead. The city will be a sea of pink and we are asking that seminar attendees leave a little bit of extra room in their suit cases and bring a clothing donation for a woman in need. We’re hoping the fantastic Dallas community will also help!
Mary Kay and The Mary Kay Foundation have teamed up with local organizations who support survivors of domestic violence to help give back. Local retailer – Tootsies – will be a collection site for the Dallas community to bring in their donations. Mary Kay launched the annual Suits for Shelters program with a pink party and fashion show to celebrate the amazing domestic violence shelters and organizations in the city that support women looking to continue on their journey of recovery and secure a new job. It might be an old suit to some, but it also represents a new beginning of a life free from abuse.
