What’s Trending Now?

Fall is my favorite time of year.  Football, Halloween candy, turkey and cool weather.  I don’t know if it’s my high spirits or the ability to wear more accessories, but fall is also my favorite fashion season.  I love wearing scarves and boots and being able to wear makeup that won’t sweat off the moment I step outside.  So, when fall rolls around, I like to play with color and wear the popular trends of the season.

This season is all about going back to the enchantment and wonder of our younger days.  I don’t know any little girl that didn’t want to be a princess when she grew up after watching or reading a fairytale.  And, let’s face it, I think most of us would love to feel a little less like Cinderella cooking and cleaning all the time and spend a few more fancy nights out with the prince.  So, to bring back that feeling, television and movies these days are all about fairytales with a grown-up twist. Think Grimm, Once Upon a Time, Snow White and the Huntsman, etc.  Fairytales are all around.

So, how do I get this wondrous feeling and also pull in my love for fashion trends?  With this season’s trend collection, Fairytales & Fantasy, I can create soft romantic looks that make me feel like a princess, or go with a bold berry lip or purple smoky eye to bring out my inner drama queen.  I love that there are so many looks you can create with this line and you can mix these products with our regular eye and lip colors too.  As a makeup junkie, I love to mix and match!

What’s also cool about these products is that you don’t have to be into fairytales to like the products or create a look that suits you.  Gold, mauve and purple shades are on trend everywhere you look, and anyone can wear them.  So, what’s your favorite fall look?
