Guess who’s back?!?! It’s me. The Mary Kay Pink Cadillac. Last year I told you about how my pink Cadillac girlfriends and I shut down the streets of Dallas for Mary Kay’s 50th anniversary. Well, I’m burning up the streets again. This time I’m taking a road trip to N’awlins. That’s New Orleans for those of you who don’t speak Cajun.
I went to New Orleans for Mary Kay’s Leadership Conference, and it's been a great trip. I drove all over the state and got some great photos. I got lost once and had a rather unpleasant experience in the swamp. But that's ok because I got to hang out with LSU’s Mike the Tiger. That means I’m in, right? I’m an honorary Cajun!
Look at these cool pictures from my trip, and be sure to follow me @MKPinkCaddy on Twitter.
Packed and ready to go. Road trip!!!
It’s not a road trip without a stop at Whataburger. I can't be the only one who loves spicy ketchup.
“Keeping Louisiana Beautiful” one Mary Kay pink Cadillac at a time.
The Steel Magnolias house in Natchitoches. “My colors are blush and bashful.” #FavoriteMovie
Louisiana Spanish moss. Can something be beautiful and creepy at the same time?
Stop at University of Louisiana-Lafayette. Did you know they have a swamp in the middle of their campus?!?
The Atchafalaya Basin Bridge. 18 miles long with no stops.
Eeeek! I'm not sure if this was an alligator or a crocodile, but I got outta there fast!!!
Recalculating. Recalculating. Recalculating.
My new BFF. LSU’s mascot, Mike the Tiger.
And finally, hello from the New Orleans Convention Center. My home for the next week.
