How It's Made: Mary Kay Lipstick

Lipstick manufacturing has come a long way from the days when women would crush gemstones or berries to form pastes to stain their lips. A *very* long way when you consider the fact that Mary Kay sold more than 19.4 million – yes MILLION – lipsticks last year. That would be a LOT of berries and maybe part of the inspiration behind the new Mary Kay® True DimensionsTM Lipstick shade, Lava Berry.
