Stylish Intern Look

For an intern, among the challenges of waking up at 6 a.m. and navigating "real job" responsibilities, one of the biggest changes when working in a business professional environment is deciding what to wear every day.

I'm used to the typical college look complete with t-shirts, shorts and lip balm, so I thought, "How can I dress appropriately every day without getting bored with the same look?"

Mary Kay's Stylish Intern Look is the answer. Through a variety of color palettes, bold eye liners and tinted lip balms, I can showcase my style without buying a whole new wardrobe (or maybe I can do both!)

The Mary Kay At PlayTM Sunset Beach Eye Trio allows me to mix and match colors that will last long past 5 p.m. The Mary Kay At PlayTM Bold Fluid Eyeliner, in colors like "Hello Violet" and "Gold Metal" are great way to make any eye color pop!  I complete the look with a brush of Mary Kay® Lash Love® LengtheningTM Mascara, Strawberry Cream mineral cheek color and a swipe of Pink Again triple layer tinted lip balm.

For a face that is ready to take on the day, and will last all day, this combination is perfect for those trendy, fashionable and hard-working interns like me that want to stand out and switch it up! The palettes are compact and great for traveling or stashing in a desk drawer for touch ups. Plus, all of the color combinations are already compatible and coordinated, making it easier to create a cohesive look before you've had your morning coffee.

Thanks to Mary Kay, I know I'm putting my best face forward so I can tackle the professional world feeling confident and prepared with my own eclectic style. Mary Kay Global Makeup Artist Ashley Ward provides great professional tips on how to rock this look.
