Game, set, match for Mary Kay Spain at the 2016 Mutua Madrid Open

Mary Kay Spain was recently selected as the official beauty sponsor of the Mutua Madrid Open 2016 (MMO), and once again it was a winning combination!

As tennis is among the Top 3 sports in Spain, the Mutua Madrid Open was the place to be – and be seen – and Mary Kay was definitely the “IT” brand on the scene! 

During the 10-day event, professional female and male athletes from all over the world, celebrities and tennis fans had the opportunity to stop by our Beauty Boutique to spin our very own Mary Kay Wheel of Fortune for a chance to win Mary Kay® product favorites, as well as receive a Mary Kay makeover and makeup tips from Independent Beauty Consultants.  Fans could select one of two makeup looks created by Mary Kay Global Makeup Artist Luis Casco, and the Ball Girls looked gorgeous on the court sporting Mary Kay makeovers featuring the winning look from Luis that social media fans selected as their favorite. 

Women could even swap out a lipstick from their bag for the Beauty That Counts® Mary Kay® Creme Lipstick, Hearts Together benefiting Mary Kay Spain’s charitable partner, Fundación Integra, an organization devoted to supporting survivors of abuse and bringing an end to domestic violence.  This was a wonderful way for consumers to get to try a fantastic product and become aware of the positive impact Mary Kay has on the world around them.

Mary Kay Spain also hosted several survivors from Fundación Integra for a day of beauty, fun and relaxation at the Mary Kay Sky Lounge, an exclusive part of the event providing the best views of the main tennis court. The Sky Lounge was constantly abuzz with athletes, celebrities, beauty and health editors, plus our very own VIPs – Independent National Sales Directors and top Independent Sales Directors who earned a spot to attend this exclusive event.  And, our very own Mary Kay reporter had an opportunity to interview Spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal who’s currently ranked number five in the world!

With more than 240,000 people attending the Mutua Madrid Open this year, this sponsorship was a wonderful opportunity for them to discover all there is to love about Mary Kay.  We certainly didn’t disappoint and made a huge statement at the event!  Be sure to check out all the action on YouTube!
